The Better World Shelter for Women with Disabilities is a lifeline for women who face the intersection of homelessness, physical disabilities, and violence. Founded in 2016 by Dr. Aiswarya Rao, this shelter was born out of a need to support women with disabilities.
From housing and legal support to providing nutritious meals and medical assistance to employment, the shelter ensures that the women residents are properly cared for. This film also presents the testimonies of three residents.
